You've already done the hard part...finding that special someone willing to share a whole lifetime of your grand adventures. Everything else is just details, and finding me is one less thing to worry about. Buying the license is just a quick trip to the county clerk's office, however the law requires you to find someone to "officiate"----which means to perform the wedding service. As an ordained minister and a notary I meet all legal requirements to sign your license, however that's the boring part; I'm also charming, well spoken, compassionate and committed to making you look good on your big day.
Why hire an Officiant?
The probate judge can marry you, if your romantic vision is the courtroom, however if you want to be married in a hot air balloon, the tram, or just in your best friend's back yard you need someone with a lot more flexibility. These days nearly half of all couples are not involved in a church, or if they are their families are pulling them in several different directions---to get married within their tradition. Well...as the old song says, "You can't please everyone, so you've got to please yourself." As an inter-faith minister I'm a safe alternative that lets you focus on what really matters: the honeymoon.
